Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1987. Stopped in 1988 after 19 issues.

This Norwegian adventure series mainly features stories taking place in the realm of Eternia after the Great War. Now the realm is under siege from the evil Skeletor of Grayskull Castle, and freedomfighters try to neutralize him led by the powerful and righteous barbarian He-Man.

The series' vast Eternia universe is built on a Mattel toyline merchandise series known as Masters of the Universe.
