Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1976*. Stopped in 2005 after 710 issues after having been published erratically from 1985.

This Swedish series contains multiple independent stories of romantic girls having  all sorts of problems with their love life as well as diverse articles of a contemporary kind.

* Initially, the series started in 1966 under another publisher. During its total run it spawned several similar series such as Jätte-Starlet, Serie-Starlet, and Starlet Special. Also, the series was briefly retitled Nya Starlet between 1989 and 1990.
