:  The corporation chiefly published pulp fiction magazines and novels, but from 1940 to 1949 it took up publishing comic books as well. It never used a logo on these front covers.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1941. Stopped in 1947 after 56 issues.

The series presents stories featuring diverse magicians and their adventures. Some are real persons such as Harry Blackstone, whereas others are fictional such as Nigel Elliman. Most issues contain pages in which selected magic tricks are explained.

The first issue was titled Super-magic Comics. The second issue was titled Super-magician Comics (with a hyphen), until the publisher settled for Super Magician Comics.
