Name: Carlsen Comics (European comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1899 as P.I.B. by Hjalmar Carlsen (1875-1951) and has since then changed name several times. It has subsidiaries in several European countries. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2004. Stopped in 2007 after 8 issues.

The stories take place in the early 1900s Japan, in which the young ethnologist Kantarō Ichinomiya spends time as a ghosthunter as he has the ability to see ghosts. Specifically, he is looking for a Tengu (a demon in Japanese folklore) in order to profit from its strength.
