MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2009. Ongoing.

The stories take place in AmberGround, a land shrouded in eternal night and partly illuminated by an artificial sun. The main character is the 12-year old Lag Seeing, who functions as a letter delivery boy, a Letter Bee (Tegami Bachi in Japanese), between cities, where the countrysides are infested with Gaichuus, giant and armoured insects that feed on the letters of travellers.
On his journeys Seeing is accompanied by Niche, a girl he once saved from a Gaichuu. He is also looking for his mother, who has been kidnapped and believed to be held in the capital of Akatsuki.
