Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1977*. Stopped in 1995 after 293 issues but has been continued by other publishers. Ongoing.

This Norwegian series consists of independent stories from the Wild West featuring the righteous gunman Tex Willer**.

* The series was first published from 1971 to 1976 (71 issues) under another publisher. ** The initial Italian series is titled Tex.
