MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2011. Ongoing.

The title character is Vietnam veteran Colonel Steve Austin who loses his right arm, both legs, and his left eye in an air fighter crash.
A scientist, Rudy Wells, succeeds in replacing Austin's body parts with mechanical elements, but at the same time he obtains superhuman abilities: His arm is capable of bending steel, his legs propel him into fantastic speeds, and his eye has telescopic enhancement and night vision as well as laser capabilities.
