Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1994*. Stopped in 2000 after 75 issues.

The 12-year old Timothy 'Tim' Hunter is found to have magical potential to a degree, where several prominent magicians and fantasy characters through the ages decide to promote his dormant skills. Some of his tutors are Merlin, Doctor Fate, The Spectre, and The Demon, and they take him on tours in order to help him decide, if he wishes to be the world's greatest magician.
