Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

Comments: The corporation's logo changed several times over the years. The selected one ran from 1976 to 2005.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1985. Stopped in 1988 after 28 issues, but later continued in 3 more series under the same title or just titled Outsiders.

The title characters are superheroes that have formed a team of crime fighters and settled in Los Angeles. The group consists of new and old characters, of which Batman represents the latter type.
