MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1971. Stopped in 1973 after 21 issues.

This is the story about a widowed mother, Shirley Partridge, and her 5 children. They all embark on a music career playing as an orchestra. Their names and musical preferences are: Shirley (vocals, keyboards, percussion, tambourine), Keith (vocals, guitar, banjo), Laurie (vocals, piano, percussion), Danny (vocals, guitar, bass), Chris (vocals, drums), and Tracy (vocals, tambourine, percussion).

The series is a spinoff from a situation comedy TV series that ran from 1970 to 1974 (96 episodes).
