The series premiered in 1967*. Stopped in 1969 after 10 issues.

The starring character was a police officer by the name of Jim Corrigan, until he got brutally murdered. However, his spirit did not enter the afterlife, and it has since then been dedicated to fighting criminals. The supernatural Spectre is very powerful in almost all aspects, and he grows more powerful every day.

* The character as such premiered in 1940, and there has been several series since then. The one presented on this page is just one of them. In the newer series Corrigan's spirit finally entered the afterlife only to by substituted by the deceased Hal Jordan's spirit. Jordan was the Green Lantern, when he was still alive.
