MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010. Stopped in 2013 after 9 issues.

The stories are set in the empire of Saiunkoku, that has 8 provinses each named after the different colours of a rainbow. The main character is Shūrei Hong, who teaches at the temple school, but later she is invited to be the Emperor Ryuuki Shi's consort in order to help him become a better ruler. The two persons from different walks of life then experiences a growing relationship.
