MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1956*. Stopped in 1960 after 26 issues.

The starring characters are Fatsy (pompous and obese), Patsy (tall and dim-witted), and Minus (short and accident-prone). They are adventurous mice who spend some of their time avoiding or neutralizing the troublesome cat Whiskers.
It is obvious that the overall idea derives from Alexandre Dumas' novel The Three Musketeers.

* Initially, the characters premiered in Funny Stuff that ran from 1944 to 1954.
