: Charlton published stories from all genres of the comic book universe. The company was known for its low-budget activities that included the publishing of previously unpublished material from bygone companies.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1966. Stopped in 1967 after 10 issues, but has been revived in an ongoing series started in 2012.

The starring character, Peter Cannon, was raised as an orphan in a Tibetan monestary where he was taught Eastern philosophy and trained in Eastern mysticism, which turned him into a superhero with the alias Thunderbolt.
