The series premiered in
1964. Stopped in 1967 after 10 issues.
The title character was born as the son of
an Inca king 400 years ago, when the Spanish conquistadors
roamed the vast realm. In an ensuing battle Toka drinks a potion
that makes him seem dead, but he actually wakes up from a dep
sleep in the 20th century(!). He now takes on the role of
protector of the remains of his people in the South American
jungle.
The full title of the series is Toka Jungle
