Personal dates: Founded in Germany in 1988 by Jürgen Janetzki (1943-2009). Stopped in 2000 but continued from 2006 as Splitter GmbH & Co. by Horst Gotta, Delia Wüllner-Schulz, and Dirk Schulz. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2006. Stopped in 2008 after 6 issues.

The initial story tells about man's exploration of Space that is suddenly interrupted by the discovery of a giant barrier behind Saturn that prevents further penetration into Space. A group of court martialed, military people has the so-called Purgatory Squadron formed in order to try solving the mystery.
