MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1985*. Stopped in 1992 after 15 issues.

The main character is a good-looking and athletic adventurer by the name of Jean Valhardi. As an insurance detective his job takes him to multiple exotic locations all over the world, where he solves puzzling crimes. In some of the cases he is accompanied by a journalist named Gégène, whom Valhardi has to rescue on a regular basis.

The full title of the German series is Valhardi & Co, Abenteurer (meaning Adventurer in English).
