Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1899 as P.I.B. by Hjalmar Carlsen (1875-1951) and has since then changed name several times. It has subsidiaries in several European countries. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2007. Ongoing.

The scene is set in a dark and sinister post-nuclear future primarily ruled by vampires. The title character is D (a so-called Dhampir, a half-breed child of a vampire father and a human mother), who now spends his time as a hunter of wanted vampires.
