MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1983. Stopped in 1985 after 19 issues.

One of the characters is a bank teller, David Carson, who suddenly finds himself teleported to the realm of Den-La, from where he begins battling for the destiny of the universe as Lord Cumulus against the villainous Prince Chaos. Other recurring characters are Sargon the Mistress of War, Valaria the Insect Sorceress, and Xander the Unconquerable.

The series must not be confused with another series by the same title featuring Warp, a pseudonym for French supervillain Emil LaSalle, who roamed in Teen Titans.
