Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1972*. Stopped in 1980 after 59 issues.

The series consists of several independent stories from the Old West primarily featuring Bat Lash, El Diablo, Jonah Hex, and Scalphunter.

* The series continued from the second run of All Star Western that ran for 11 issues, thus the series on this page started the numbering at #12.
