MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1940. Stopped in 1954 after 124 issues.

Initially, the aviation stories were aimed for flight enthusiasts, but during World War 2 they mainly contained adventures of heroic American fighter pilots. The most recurring character is Captain Wings.
