MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1988*. Stopped in 2003 after 190 issues, but the series has been revived numerous times since then.

The title character was born James Howlett, but is mainly called Logan. He is a fierce, mutant superhero with the ability of speedy healing and slow ageing. His body has been molecularly infused with adamantium, a substance that renders him almost indestructible. This is also the case as for his primary weapons, which are large, retractable bone claws on each hand.

* The character was first published in 1974 in The Incredible Hulk, but the series on this page is the first of many with the main character in the title role.
